On origin, plainly: "Turkish towel" names a weave and a tradition, not a country of manufacture — the same way a French press is not made in France. Ours are woven in Asia to the traditional flat construction, and the exact mill is stated on your quote. Any supplier claiming Turkish or Egyptian origin on a Chinese-made towel is telling you something that is not true, and we would rather lose the sentence than the trust.

No, and we will not pretend otherwise: they are woven in Asia to the traditional flat peshtemal construction, and the mill is named on your quote. "Turkish towel" is the trade name of the weave in English, not a claim of origin. If genuine Turkish manufacture is a requirement for your market, tell us in the request and we will say so rather than sell you something else.
At retail, sometimes: shoppers equate plush with quality on first touch. Two answers work. Merchandise it on what it does (packs small, dries fast, doubles as a wrap) rather than on thickness, or move up to the 310 gsm tasselled model, which has noticeably more body in the hand.
Knotted fringes tangle in industrial machines, which is why spas often specify a shorter fringe or a stitched end. Both are production options: say how the towels will be washed and we adjust the finish before production rather than after the first delivery.
Yes, on the jacquard and checked weaves: the mark goes into the fabric during weaving, so it cannot fade or peel. It needs a simple shape and a higher minimum than printing. For fine detail or photographic artwork, printing on a flat cotton base is the better route.
